ALIEN'S WORLD.

I have never feel like I'm an alien before. But this time, I think I am. I didn't really feel like I'm in my own class and my own life. It's like, someone out there is now the one that takes control and plans everything for my life. I don't even get the chance to make my own decision. And I hate it. I'm 18 tho. None of 18 y/o teenagers like to be treat this way. yeah, but that's not the point actually. Being in semester 2 in Asasi TESL program is a good thing for me. And I am so glad that I am still in this course as I really wanted to. But in semester 2, everything has changed. Even the class. And the worse part is, I got to be in the same class with certain of people I don't want to be with. The best part is that I am still in the same class with my froggy and my boyfriend. But its kinda awkward being in the same class with your loved one, I men girlfriend/boyfriend. It is awkward. But as he said, "you should try to adapt the 'lantak lah' attitude in your life and you'll be fine". And I do actually take that advice. Wow me! Haha. But I kinda stressed out being in this new class. New people, new friends all over again. But, this time, I already knew the people and I don't really have the interest in get to know them deeper. Yknow what I mean. Huh~ What a life. This time, I really have to be a survivor. I really do. I hope I can make it through all this semester and this 5 months with pleasure. I don't really know what to tell in this post actually cause I've lost so many words to describe this semester. Like Froggy l asked me, "One word for this new class?" and I answered "Boring". It is. Frankly speaking, it is. Nothing interesting tho. Oh my, I really have to end this post or I'll start to get stressed out and so mentally breakdown. Dear myself, be yourself, practice the 'lantak lah' attitude and stay awesome pleaseeeee. Hahaha.

P/S: Thanks to Yana, Mek, Ica and Qistina for making me feel better tonight. We'll do that again some other days okay. XO,

END OF HOLIDAY.

Things have been packed. 2 luggage sit still besides my bedroom door. I looked still at them with my two arms around my legs. The lanterns at the head of my bed are now shining in my dark room. Here I am, sitting at the edge of my bed, blogging. What else can I do? When else can I find a time to blog after this? December 2012 means I'm back into my hectic life. The life as a student. It's kinda sad cause I'm gonna leave my soft pillow and bed, my cute pink princess room, my cactus, my books, my imagination box, my closet and back to the college with small space of closet, such uncomfortable pillow and mattress, and of course, sharing rooms. Haha I never liked sharing rooms with people even when I'm a kid. I always have my own room. Haha. The truth. *okay, getting back to the mood* This is the sacrifices I have to make for achieving success. And I hope it'll be worth it in the end. Semester break, for this 1 month and 3 weeks break, I really enjoyed my time at home. Everything I want, I got at home. I can live with the imaginations from all of the novels. I can actually open up my closet and start to mix and match clothes. And I can possibly talk to all my cactus without worrying people might say I'm crazy for talking to the plants. Yes, home sweet home. But now, the semester break has comes to its end. I have one more day left to enjoy this moment. Frankly speaking, I don't really get excited in going back to the college even I knew that I can meet Aiman there. But I'm tired. Tired of having all the dramas there. And everything that will just make me feel sick. Fake friends, troublesome guys, rumors, backstabbers. I just hope I could ignore everything and move on with my life. Second semester, which means the last semester, I have to go through this all over again and stay alive in it. I know I can. I believe I can. Well then, until we meet again on May dear holiday. I'm looking forward for it. In shaa Allah we will.

The best feelings ever when I actually got to talk with them. I'm gonna miss holiday. *Phs by Dy.

Finished 5 books in 1 month and 3 weeks semester break. I just love books. *Phs by Dy.

ONCE AGAIN.

Nobody wants to failed in their life. Neither do I. The final exam for my semester 1 has just came out this morning and I am so grateful on my results. Allah has helped me a lot. And now He helped me once again. He opened another way for me to achieve my dreams in the future. And He has granted all of my prayers. Alhamdulillah.  I am so speechless right now. Though, most of my friends gets higher pointer than me, and I do envy the, but that doesn't says I hate for what I got on my results. I'm still  grateful on mine. I know how much effort I've put on the final and that's what I got for the result. It wasn't that bad, I still passed the least mark which is 3.0. I just have to prove more on my second final. I hope I can do better than this. InsyaAllah, with the help from Allah, I believe in myself. And for my those that upset about your results, please don't be. You've tried your best. "It's better than nothing," - Syasya. And it is true. Don't ever give up. Keep trying, do your best, InsyaAllah there's a way leading you to success. Mom, Dad, thanks for believing in me. You guys are the best parents ever. Thanks to mom for never stop having faith on me and dad for keep supporting me. And yeah, I will make you guys proud again in the future. Thank You Allah for ease the way to success for me. And now, it's time for me to focus on my MUET. Wish me luck! :)

FRANKLY SPEAKING,

 Frankly speaking,

Love stories generally build up to a romantic climax and then end, leaving us with the impression that the couple lived happily ever after. Sadly, the reality is rarely as rosy as this.In the first flush of love nothing much matters beyond being together - no sacrifice is too great if it helps you spend more time with the person whose mere presence intoxicates you. But when the intoxication starts to wear off, as it does unfortunately, little misunderstandings start to occur, causing friction, irritation, long cold silences or angry rows and the rosy image of love can give way to a deep sense of disillusion.

Why is there this friction between men and women?
The root cause of the problem, apparently, is that men and women don't understand just how different they are emotionally. Men and women respond to problems in very different ways and consequently have very different emotional needs. When people insist on their own needs and fail to properly appreciate the needs of their partners there is bound to be friction.

Women, typically, deal with problems and stresses by talking about how they feel. A woman may easily feel overwhelmed and by talking she will find relief and feel less upset. There is no need necessarily to deal with the practicalities of the problem - they are of secondary significance. What really matters is expressing herself, exploring her emotions and getting the support from a loving relationship in which she feels that she is understood.

Whereas women want to talk and talk about their problems, men withdraw into the caves of their mind to focus on solving the problem. A man's self-esteem is built on a sense of how competent he is, so he feels he must develop the skills to solve his problems on his own. Asking for help or idly expressing how terrible you feel is perceived as an admission of weakness and incompetence. Rather than looking for understanding, men want their partners to admire them for the way they achieve their goals.

The more busy life becomes, the greater this friction will be. As the problems men face seem greater and more intractable, the more they need to escape and the less they are able to patiently sit and lovingly listen to their partner's frustrations. The more demanding a woman's life becomes, the greater her emotional turmoil is and the more she has to express. If her partner is glued to the TV or out skydiving all the time, they will grow further and further apart.

With a little, men and women can understand each other better and learn to respect their differences. He thinks that women can start to respect that men need to withdraw to cope with stress and they can realise that this doesn't mean that they no longer love them. And he is convinced that men can find that listening to their partner talk about her problems could actually help them come out of their caves in the same way as watching TV or skydiving. Apparently, men need to be needed. By learning to listen without giving solutions they can see how much of a positive difference they can make in their partner's life and thus appreciate how important they are. So the key to keeping the flames of love alight would seem to be less telly and more listening.

p/s: frankly speaking, this is true. Most of these theories came from John Gray's book. Read his books, he's good :)

ALL BY YOURSELF~

Assalammualaikum,
Dear readers

Look at the distance...

It has been 3 weeks that I've been away from my mom. Its kinda awkward cause mom and I never been separated this long. Even when Im in the boarding school, mom always visited me. Seriously. I do miss mom right now. But, this is one of the challenge that I need to face to become a successful daughter to my parents. But I am so glad that I've a supportive mom. She only call me several times in a week. But we always talked to each other through Facebook. She gives me a lot of advises about studying, friends, Islamic thingy and so on. I know that mom will never forget me or neglect me. No mom would do that to their children. Living here, by my own, is kinda difficult. Cause its kinda new environment to me. I need to find my own food for a day, I need to manage my financial all by myself, I need to take care of myself and everything that I do is all by my own. Im still trying to manage this kind of thing to adapt into my life. And I know I can do it. Mom is always right here besides me, like an angel :) Hehe. Well, living by my own really shows me how the real world is. The real people. The real friends. Everything has been revealed. Hahahaha. *Mojo Jojo laugh* Anyway, the point is, even though its kinda little stress studying here, but I still having so much fun here. With my classmates, my roommates esp. InsyaAllah I'll never feel regret studying here. InsyaAllah. And dear mom, if you read this. I miss you mommy :) I miss your cakes, your 'puding's, your cooking ofc :) I'll be back to Ipoh by the first week of Ramadhan. Wait for me mom :D

STRESS-NESS.

Assalammualaikum,
Dear Readers,

It has been a week since I've started my classes here in UiTM Shah Alam as an Asasi TESL's student. Before we ( the Asasi TESL's student ) were determined to be on what group, Dr. Jamiah has organised one test called 'Placement Test' to see how much do we know about English and how much do we understand English before you group us into different classes. And for me, the test was quite okay. Not too hard and not too easy. It was just okay. But suprisingly, after knowing the result from the test, I was so shock that I was placed into the last group which is Group E. We only have 5 groups for the Asasi TESL's student. Group A until Group E. And I was so disappointed with myself as to be honest, I've never been in the last place before. I am not trying to show off or being arrogant, but in school, I have always been the best English student for my teacher and now I know where do I really belong to. I was never that 'clever' in English. I still have a lot of things to be learn. And I was so down, majorly break down when I know I was in a Group E. Nobody wants to be in the last place aite? But here, in UiTM, I was in the last place and I feel so so so stupid. Each of us, who belongs in Group E, are really disappointed with ourselves. Some of us, just hate themselves. Seriously, its the fact. Whenever we bumped into Group A or Group B, and here them talking to each other, they sound so sophisticated and elegant and so matured. So, we just feel like we dont even belong here, to be an Asasi TESL's student. So, I called my mom. And told her about everything that happened. About me, being in a Group E and blah blah blah. When my mom starts to speak, using her wise words as she usually does whenever I seek for an advice at her, tears falls down from my eyes. Mom is so supportive. When I told her that I was placed in the last class, she never said that she feels 'disappointed'. Not a single words that have the same meanings with the word 'disappointed' came out from her mouth. All she said is just supportive words to build me up again after I've 'broke down'. All she told me is just to be strong for this one year and struggle. Show 'em all that being in a Group E which is the last group, doesnt mean that Im stupid. It means, I'll just have to take a few more steps to success and much more. All the things that mom said to me really makes me cry. I cry in front of my classmates and never feel ashamed about that. Those tears that fall down from my eyes, is the tears of me, being proud to be born as my mom's daughter. I have a supportive mom. Thank you for that Allah, for giving me the best mom ever.

Well, I am a little bit stress right now. Because of assignments and so on. But never stresses about being in the Group E. No more. To be honest, Group E is the best Group among all. We live as a family in one classes. We, boys and girls live like we're brothers and sisters. W go lunch together, hang put together and sometimes even cry together whenever we feel so stress. And we're the best. Group E is the best. No words could describe how glad I am to be in this Group. I'll never regret it.

From the left up, Amir, Nik, Ika, Lyana, Patricia, Syuhada, Ain Syuhada, Shamin, Mira Syuds, Ishaa, Dibah.

Asasi TESL in UiTM :)

Assalammualaikum

Alhamdulillah, I really am happy right now. Extremely, superbly, fantastically happy. And by the title, you must know what really happen right? Well, Alhamdulillah, Allah listens to my prayer everyday. I got the opportunity and offer to go for Asasi TESL in UiTM to further my study. Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah. There are no such word that could describe how happy I am right now until tears falls down from my eyes. As you know, from all the post before, it has always been my dream to further my study in TESL course at UiTM and now that I got the chance to, I know, Allah still loves me and Allah gave me the chance to turn my family's life into a better one. I wasnt born in a rich family, I wasnt like all those girls who can shop till they drop cause they're using their parent's money, I wasnt a girl who wears fancy clothes, I wasnt a girl who has everything that she ever dream of. And now, finally, on of my dreams came true. I might not have the fancy and living-with-money life, but Allah still give me a chance to be one of those girl. And I'll make sure that I wont disappoint mom and everyone around me that always have faith on me. Thanks for everyone, for my friends, and my closest family for giving me such a good and big support to me. Now that I already achieve one of my dream, I will make another of my dreams came true which is I wanna be a writer. InsyaAllah, if I score this Asasi TESL, I wanna further my degree overseas. Who knows, maybe I got the chance to or maybe not. But its okay. As long as I got the chance to study, I'll study as smart and as hard as I can. To be the best daughter to my parents, the inspiring sister to my younger sisters, the supportive friend to my friends, and of course, the successful Muslim to Allah.

TESL INTERVIEW :)

Assalammualaikum

Today is the day when my future is determined. Hahahaha. Okay, kidding. I went to the tesl interview at UiTM Shah Alam (INTEC) today. *yeay, yeay, cheering* Lol~ So, Im just going to tell the story about my day today. Its all about TESL's Interview. *my heart still beating so fast now*

I woke up in the morning at 7AM. Actually mom has tried to wake me up since 5AM so that I can prepare everything without being clumsy. Hehe^^ Well, you know me...So, I woke up at 7AM and got dressed quickly, put some make-up on *cough* hehe. just a compact powder and lips ice okay? No lipstick-2, eyeliner or so whatever can make me look like a 'model' . Haha. I wear my brown baju kurung given by mom, black pashmina by my adek ninot's, shoes and handbag from maksu. hewhew, I wear handbag!!! Do you believe this? Okay, better believe it. Lol~ Haha. So, Im done. Get in the car and straight heading to PKNS to meet my dad. Ofc I'll have to meet daddy first before going to the interview. *amek berkat konon* haha. Dad gave me such a supporting words. "You can do it, Never say you cant" Always will remember those words. Even its just a simple words, its words from daddy. My one and only daddy. Hehe. Dad take me to KFC for breakfast and we talked, talked, and talked. Thats the only thing we could do in AM.

So, when the clock strike right at 12PM, mom told me to get a cab so we can arrive at the INTEC on time. Instead of being there right on the time, we arrived early at 12.30PM and I read Stars Newspaper waiting for my turn to get in the hall and take my test. Around 12.45PM, Haikal just finished his Interview and I ran straight to him to ask everything that happens in the room. Everything that happens between him and the panel. And he told me everything about it and I gain my confidence through his story. If haikal can do it, why cant I? Thanks Haikal for giving me such a support.

And here goes the story of me and the TESL Interview. Finally..Haha.
I went into 'Dewan Dedaru' which is the name of the hall where i took my writing test before going to the interview. Started the exam at 2PM and i scratch my head like I have 'kutu' on my head. Hahaha. *joking* The comprehension test was so hard. its kinda tricky, well, Universities level aite? Of course its going to be difficult. But I love the topic for the essay. "The Benefits of social networks such as Facebook, Myspace, Friendster, etc among Teenagers" I got so many ideas for that topic and I tried my best to elaborate them in just 250 words. I think I made the essay almost until 300 words. Haha, nahh, so what? At least I answered the essay :P

Right after the test is over. I went to Room TEC5 which the place I will be interview by the interviewers. And there goes my heart, beating like a drum on the Agung's Installation Ceremony. *err before that, does the ceremony has drum playing in it?* *suka hati aku je cakap ikut sedap mulut* Haha. I waited for my turn from 3PM until 6PM. Well, since Im on the 16th in the waiting list, all I have to do is just wait. I get into the room at 6PM . Here how the interview goes :

I walk in the room and say Assalammualaikum...

Panel 1 : Hai.
Me : Hai.
Panel 2 : Assalammualaikum *with a smile on her face*
Me : Waalaikummussalam.
Panel 1 : Well, she said Assalammualaikum cause nobody ever say Assalammualaikum before entered the room.
Me : *laughing while handing my certificates file* The one in the red file is the original and this one is the copy.
Panel 2 : Okay, thanks. So, have a seat Hidayah.
Me : Thank You :) *put my handbag on my side*
Panel 1 : So, tell me a little bit about yourself...
Me : Blah..blah..blah...*answering the questions* I love to read. I read books from Jim, Jodi Picoult and etc..
Panel 2 : *with a smile face* Jodi Picoult is good.
Me : And...I love writing on my blog too. I write about my daily life, my feelings and many more.
Panel 2 : Wow, that's great. What is your blog address?
Me : Princesshakunamatata.blogspot.com.
Panel 1 & 2 : LOL.
Panel 1 : Where did you got the word 'hakuna matata'? *laughing*
Me : Its from the Lion King movie.
Panel 2 : Yeah, yeah, I know that story. its cool.
Panel 1 : Well, arent you afraid of what people might say when you blog about your feelings and life  on your blog?
Me : *answered the question* SECRET! Hehe.
Panel 2 : Okay, so tell me, do you really like teaching?
Me : *answer the question with a little bit of jokes in it* Hehe. Such as 'I love kids and kids love me too' Lol~

And the questions keep coming out from the panels mouth. Haha. Skip all the other questions. continued~

Panel 1 : Any current issues that you know now?
Me : * I talk about the ptptn ablished thingy*
Panel 1 : Okay, final question. What do you really hope in your life?
Me : I JUST WANNA BE HAPPY. *smile*
Panel 1 & 2 : LOL~
Panel 2 : I like that! Hahahaha.
Panel 1 : And do you think you can be happy when you've became a teacher?
Me : Of course! Teaching is my passion.

And there goes the end of the interview. Haha, everything goes well in the room. And the panels keep laughing when I talked which is kinda cool actually cause Im not that good in making people laugh. haha. Now, I just have to pray that i got my place in those 200 students that they wanna choose. 800 candidates who came, but only 200  will be chosen. I hope I'll be one of the student in that 200 student. May everything goes well. InsyaAllah, pray for me, pray for Haikal. A step forward to further my studies. Aminnn :)

P/S : Cant talk much longer. Im exhausted. Need my rest. I'll continue this story later.

Love, Nurul Hidayah
